The British Orthopaedic Association have recently warned that approximately half of all recalled DePuy ASR XL Acetabular hip replacement implants may fail within six years.
It has been estimated that the DePuy ASR XL Acetabular Systems could reach a failure rate of 21% after four years. After six years, the surgeons predict that number will reach a failure rate of up to 49%.
This finding is exactly why patients who have had an ASR XL Acetabular System should contact us even if they haven’t suffered with any symptoms. Patients may be entitled to compensation despite the fact that they have not as of yet experienced any pain.
Given that strict time limits apply to these claims, all ASR XL Acetabular System patients are urged to take legal advice immediately, irrespective of whether or not they have had any pain.
If you or somebody you know is suffering as a result of a DePuy ASR implant, please do not hesitate to contact a member of our dedicated team on 0151 733 33539 or 02082090166.
